The Korean Cultural Center, Washington DC held the International Korean Women’s Art Exhibition from April 2- 30. The exhibition, “Chosen Homeland: Searching for Women’s Identify and Unity,”
hosted by the KOWINNER Foundation and sponsored by the KOWIN US Eastern Regional Chapter, was successfully done with over 20 Korean women artists from around the world. Also, three student artists who won the art contest (Julia Kwon, 1st place; Jean Jinho Kim, 2nd place; Zoe Linn Soo-hee Jarvis, 3rd place) had the opportunity to exhibit their artwork along with the established women artists. They received the awards during the KOWINNER Foundation & KOWIN DC gala on May 2.
